Afonwen Craft and Antique Centre (including Edenshine Restaurant) are fully open. Due to the current restrictions, we can only welcome people living in Flintshire. We can take bookings for tables of up to 6 people (which excludes children under 11), but everyone on the table must live in the same household.
We are still doing our frozen takeout foods. You can place an order over the phone and collect from the centre without leaving your car.
For everyone’s protection, we’re taking numerous safety precautions. There’s hand sanitiser near the entrance to Afonwen Craft and Antique Centre, which we’re asking everyone to use as they enter and exit the building. We’ve also added social distancing marks on the floor, installed plastic screens by tills areas, and are monitoring the number of people inside at any one time.
Afonwen Craft & Antique Centre is an independent family-run business with traditional values which was founded in 1991. We’re a one-stop destination with something for everyone which is located in a building steeped with history and situated in a beautiful rural location.
Janet is a familiar face in Afonwen Craft & Antique Centre. She’s responsible for buying antiques and vintage stock, baking many of the cakes in the restaurant, ensuring that visitors have a great time when they visit the centre, and much more behind the scenes too.
Hospitality is Adrian’s comfort area, with a flair for people, customer service, as well as baking and chef duties. Since he has an artistic eye for stock and attention to detail, he’s also become the primary buyer in the gift shop.
